Our Country

I woke up early this morning, came to the computer room and opened the blinds. The rays from the sun were coming up behind Mt. Timpanogos and the flags from the scouts were in all the yards in Stone Hollow. I just stood there mesmerized by the scene. I thought about the song that John Wayne made about our country. That has always been one of my favorites. I went on a search for it and added to my playlist, you can listen to it if you go to my playlist and click on it. I thought about the missionary who confirmed me a member of the Church and the fact that he was killed in Viet Nam shortly after he was released from his mission. I thought of Michael who served in the Air Force, Ben Leonard who served in the Marines and Jason who served in the Coast Guard. I thought about our freedom and the price it costs at times. I want to take time to remember our blessings to live in this country, never want to take that for granted. I love America and all those who have done so much for this country. I have seen so much of it, only have three states to go so that I will have been to all 50. Today I hope we all stop and think and appreciate.
